Great Drill to Improve Timing While Receiving!

A very common mistake, especially for inexperienced catchers, is to lift the mitt early from the load and end up above the pitch. The catcher needs to keep their mitt down, below the pitch, as long as possible so when they move to receive it, their mitt is moving toward the strike zone.
